Description

Ficus microcarpa Compacta is a ficus like any other, except that it is grown primarily as a bonsai tree. The thick shiny evergreen leaves generously cloth the long branches. The dense rounded canopy and gracefully drooping branches make it ideal for bonsai.

As it is a Ficus plants ,it makes florets without the petal to a yellow-colored bud-formed spadix in summers.

Environment

All figs appreciate a balanced moisture regime at the roots. Allow the soil surface to dry slightly before watering again, but never let the soil dry out completely. This species is not demanding on the soil; Any soil mixture will do, as long as it does not stay wet for long. Fertilize using regular house-plant fertilizer at 50% of recommended strength, once a week during the growing season. Never fertilize when the plant is sick.

Figs have the tendency to drop leaves when moved from one location to another. The difference in watering, air moisture and light intensity indicates to the tree a change of season, and they will drop their foliage in response. This is nothing to worry about. Within 2 weeks the plant should start growing new foliage.

Landscape Use

Grown and widely distributed as an ornamental bonsai plant,

A great natural treat option, my dog approves
Pattern Name: Full Ears, Size: 8 Count, Pattern Name: Full Ears, Size: 8 Count
Ingredients: Natural pig ears 👍, they smell smoky (my dog loves it, I don’t mind it), most of the time they are a decent size. My dog is half American bully and a heavy chewer so these are a great option for him. The quality is always good, and the bags I get are always fresh. These are a good treat for him when I have to sneak out for a bit or when I am leaving for work in the morning. I have purchased these several times. I also appreciate the eco friendly bag :)

Great Natural Chew Dogs Love, but Can Be a Bit Messy
Pattern Name: Half Ears, Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1)
These pig ears are a big hit with dogs and keep them busy for a good while. They’re made from a single ingredient, which is a nice plus if you’re looking for something more natural. They help with chewing and can support dental health by reducing plaque while your dog works on them. That said, they can be a little greasy and have a smell, which is pretty normal for pig ears. Also, they may not last as long for heavy chewers. Overall, a tasty and natural treat most dogs will love, just expect a little mess.

Large and fresh
Pattern Name: Full Ears, Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1), Pattern Name: Full Ears, Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1)
These are the next best thing from Costco’s pig ears that aren’t always around. Of course these are twice as much from Costco but mine doesn’t have them in stock right now. These ears are great! They are whole ears that are not stale or old. The bag says it’s bio-based and that it’s made out of sugar cane. My pit bull and Dogo recommend these!
