Contrary to what their name might tell you about them, pink peppercorns aren't *actually* a peppercorn. In reality, they are dried, berries from a tree. Brazilian pepper trees and Peruvian pepper trees (both of which produce these berries) are typically found in hotter climates, so areas within the U.S where you may find one of these trees are California, Arizona, Florida, and Texas. The only reason that they're named as a peppercorn is because they are similar to peppercorns in shape and flavor — at the end of the day, these bright, tiny balls are nothing more than a humble berry.
What Does Pink Peppercorn Taste Like?
Their flavor is similar to that of a black peppercorn, but it's not as strong and the flavor is much brighter and fruitier. They are slightly sweet and mild in spiciness, making them a great addition to butter-based sauces, salads, seafoods, dressings, and poultry dishes. You can sprinkle pink peppercorn over a sweet, festive bark or incorporate it into your next chicken dinner.
| Germination Information |
-Scarify the hull of the seed gently. Be careful not to damage the seed inside of the seed hull.
-Soak for 30 hours in room temperature water
-Sow in well-draining soil
-Cover with 1/2 inch of soil
-Covering the pot so that light does not enter
-Keep soil moist but not soggy
-Once the seed has germinated you can translplant it (carefuly) to a sandy soil

Worth it!
Color: Llama
Wanted to keep this for myself! Made well, size is perfect for a 90 pound pup, durable enough for a non chewer (she cleans their fur but doesn’t chew anymore). Durable enough that has been left outside during Summer storms and washed/dryed a couple times already (I use a laundry bag) and still has its adorable shape.
Great value for the money, though I might need to buy another one for myself! *^_^*

Our Doodle's Fav Toy

The first slothicorn toy that we received had a broken squeaker. We were able to quickly and easily get a replacement and send the broken one back. This is one of my pup's favorite toys, although I don't think the horn will last long-- it's the part she likes to chew on the most! At 5lbs, the toy is the same size as my Goldendoodle puppy. I think the toy is overpriced when not on sale (I got on Black Friday promo), so I would encourage waiting for a price drop before purchasing or locating another option that's affordable.

Not very durable if your dog likes to play aggressively with his toys.

My yorkie loves it. However he removed the rope tail tail on day one. Within a couple of days it came loose at the seem from chewing and he started pulling the stuffing out. I won't give back to him until I am able to mend it.

Puppy Crack!

Because its her only toy that crackels and the daisy (as in DaisyMae) flower moves up and down on the rope. DaisyMae loves it! Bee squeaks, flower dont, both do crinkle. But if you have a jaws of life puppy always going for your feet, its a great leg workout too. Well buit rope is nice to place in between your toes. Great buy. Super cute! Win Win!
Toys are on the smaller size, perfect for a baby puppy learning a squeaker toy. Maybe 6 to 8 inches each. A nice buy for 13bucks.
