Papaver somniferum ‘Lilac Pompom’ is a breathtaking laciniatum-type poppy valued for its large, deeply fringed, fully double blooms in an enchanting soft lilac shade. How to Sow
Direct Sow (recommended):
- Sow early spring (March–May) or late summer–autumn (August–September)
- Scatter seeds thinly onto raked soil; cover very lightly
- Maintain moisture until germination
- Thin seedlings to 25–30 cm apart
Indoor Sowing (possible but not ideal):
- Use deep pots to protect taproots
- Sow in darkness at ~20°C
- Transplant only when very small
Note: Breadseed poppies dislike transplanting. Direct sowing gives best results.
Growing Tips
- Requires well-drained soil — excellent drainage prevents root rot
- Water deeply but infrequently
- Slugs love young seedlings — protect early growth
- Remove spent blooms to extend flowering or leave them for pods
- Once flowering finishes, pods can be harvested or left to self-seed

Excellent athletic socks

Solid athletic socks at a great price. Not too thick, not too thin. Second time I've purchased them. They last longer than most socks I've used in the past too.
Only concern is the sizing. I may be reading the sizing chart wrong, but for my size 13 feet it says XL are the correct sock size. I've ordered Large twice and they're perfect. I would imagine the size Large socks would also fit up to size 14 shoe, but probably need to go with XL if foot is lager than 14.
