Ceropegia woodii String of Spades is a member of the "String of Things" Ceropegia succulent family. It has green, spade-shaped leaves decorated with tender, cream-colored veins. This plant is significantly rarer than its popular family member, String of Hearts.
String of Spades has trailing stems, making it a beautiful plant for hanging baskets both indoors and outdoors. This is a beautiful must-have for any houseplant collector.
Flowers are pink and purple, lantern-shaped, and grown in the spring/summer.

Partial sun to partial shade or bright, indirect light. Give this plant 3 to 6 hours of sunlight/indirect light per day but avoid scotching sun. On the other hand, with too little light, the plant may stretch its leaves outward.
This plant is slightly drought-tolerant and needs watering about once every couple of weeks or when the soil is almost dry. Reduce watering in the winter. Ensure a medium humidity level using misting, pebble trays, and humidifiers.
Well-Drained, Porous potting soil.
Optimal temperature: 65 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
String of Spades should be fertilized once during the growing season (spring/summer)with diluted houseplant fertilizer.

Protection with days of white residue

Mineral sunscreens have yet to master blending in and this is no different. If you're thinking of hitting the beach with your sexy bum protected it'd better be a ghost beach because you'll look like you've been dipped in white paint. Oh, and it doesn't wash off, so be prepared to look like Casper for days to come.
It rolls on fine if you shake it well first and it does protect.
