Water when the container feels light or even when the top few centimetres of the soil is dry. Prefers to be kept a little drier through winter and can even survive going dry.

Growth & Nutrients: Grows as a ground cover in nature but in a container, Callisia repens creates attractive mounds and trailing sections when grown in a container. Prune by cutting leggy stems to encourage bushy growth. Suits apartments or homes of any size. Feed with a general-purpose fertiliser for containers from the start of spring each year to autumn when growth slows down.
