AquaGel is an adjuvant in the form of a powder, when mixed with water it forms a gel like paste. Commonly added to Diquat for aquatic weed control spraying. Aquagel can be mixed with any other herbicides without affecting their efficacy. The following weed species can be controlled using Aquagel and aquatic herbicide mix.

Bladderwort (Utricularia spp.)

Elodea (Elodea spp.)
Pondweeds (Potamogeton spp.)
Watermilfoils (Myriophyllum spp.)
Hydrilla (Hydrilla verticillata)
Salvinia (Salvinia spp.)

Aquagel allows aquatic herbicide to be carried through the water column to the target pest plant thereby reducing herbicide diffusion into water and minimising the herbicide discharged into water. Aquagel allows aquatic herbicide to pass through the thermocline and so can be used at any time of the year.
Aquagel has a stable viscosity which does not change with temperature. You may consider mixing 20L of Diquat with 20L water, and add 600g of Aquagel, while agitating solution, (e.g. with battery drill, and paint stirrer) leave for 2 hours, then apply
Aquagel will sink through the water column and adhere to the target pest plant thereby allowing maximum diffusion of herbicide to the target plant.
If too thick, add water. If too thin, make thicker batch, and combine & thin & thick batches.
