When applied prior to the emergence of crops and weeds, Drill Herbicide controls susceptible species at their most vulnerable seedling stage, preventing early competition and protecting crop yield potential. Under favorable moisture conditions, it continues to control weeds as the crop develops — maintaining a clean start and consistent growth environment. Moisture is required to activate the herbicide. For best results, rainfall or irrigation should occur within two weeks after application. Soils with high clay or organic matter may require higher rates for optimum performance. For post-emergence applications, best results are achieved on young, actively growing weeds under warm and humid conditions.
