Ellagance Pink makes a delightful, aromatic cut flower. For longest vase life, cut stems when the lowest blossoms open. Lavender holds vivid color and lasting fragrance when dried. Cut stems for drying during the cool morning hours when perfume is strongest, then hang upside down to dry. Lavender is a woody plant that does not divide well. To maintain plant size over time simply cut back in spring by up to ½ as new foliage appears. Foliage remains evergreen in warm climates and semi-evergreen in the north. Deer- and rabbit-resistant.
