Kirikuchi-Naoru is a Japanese wound sealant paste and liquid used to protect fresh cuts on trees from infection and water loss, and to promote healing and callus formation. It creates a protective barrier over the wound, helping the tree to seal the cut and preventing decay. 

Having the consistency of toothpaste this product is used for sealing cuts on all tree species. Particularly useful for encouraging callous formation on thin bark species and those reticent to fully close cuts.

Kirikuchi-naoru is particularly useful for species that struggle to close their wounds, like Azaleas and Ginkgo.
