This intriguing variety of Tillandsia has large wispy tentacle like leaves that give the butzii a rather squirmy look. The base of this plant is dark green with both light and dark spots mixed about. The butzii air plant will look right at home in a nice terrarium adorned with a mixture of other plants, rocks, or pieces of wood.
The butzii air plant loves humid conditions, so be sure to water it at least once a week. As with any bulbous plant, shake out any excess water from its leaves and let it dry completely before adding it back to its holder, or terrarium. Doing so will help prevent your new plant from rotting!
