Product Information

  • Application or Use: Pasture, Cattle Forage, Livestock Grazing, Hay Production, Erosion Control
  • Germination Time: 21 - 28 days, under optimal conditions
  • Growing Locations: Transition Zone, Cool Season
  • Height: 1 - 3 feet
  • Sunlight Requirements: 6 - 8 hours
  • Advantages: Very low crown and dense prostrate growth habits allow to be grazed near ground level, making this the ideal variety for horse grazing.
  • When to Plant: Recommended planting time is spring and fall when nighttime temperatures are consistently below 65 degrees.

Pennlate will produce a very thick and dense stand that is able to persist even under hard, continuous grazing. The dense, prostrate growth of Pennlate also helps it to out-compete many invasive weeds. Pennlate is tolerant of heat, moderate drought, low fertility, and most foliar diseases, including rust. Its aggressive tillers also help utilize soil nutrients. Pennlate is an abundant producer under irrigation and high fertility. With excellent digestibility and good feed value, Pennlate can be combined with high yielding grasses to make an excellent hay/grazing pasture. Pennlate has outperformed many other Orchard Grasses in feed value, palatability and digestibility.

A seeding rate of 15-25 lbs. per acre for 100% pasture is recommended. Seed with other grasses at the rate of 6 to 8 lbs. per acre. Plant with White Clover, Alfalfa, Tetraploid Perennial, and other appropriate grazing grasses. An application of Nitrogen, 25 to 30 units per acre 4 to 6 weeks after sowing promotes tillering without damage to the young stand. Once established, should be grazed or cut leaving a 3 to 4 in. residual.

Plant in early Autumn or in the Spring in a prepared, firm seedbed, seeding with a Brillion-type seeder, or by broadcast and cultipack. A planting depth of 1/8 to 1/4 in. is best. No-till is only recommended when an herbicide is used to sufficiently kill or retard the existing stand. A minimum pH of 6.0 is best.

Good shelf to upgrade my awkward kitchen!
Size: 42 inch 2 Tier
This shelf is exactly what I was looking for for my awkward kitchen in my new house. Don't mind the plywood walls (who knows what the previous owners were thinking 🤣) but anyways, we had this awkward gap between the kitchen counters and the stove, so I got a stainless steel shelf to fill the gap and add some more counterspace, and I found this industrial style pipe shelving, which was the perfect size and height to fit in this gap on the wall and give us more storage/organization space. It's easy to assemble and hang up, and seems very strong and sturdy. It's a little heavy, but lightweight enough to hang easily. Right out of the box, it was disappointing to see some scuffs in the black paint on the piping, especially for the price. Luckily, the biggest scuff is in a pretty inconspicuous space so it's not a big deal. Definitely not worth returning to see if another one wouldn't have any scuffs (especially since many of the other reviews mentioned scuffs too). It's wabi sabi I suppose 😅 Also, not a single extra screw or hardware was included. Not a big deal, but screws are cheap enough to through in one extra just in case one is missing or lost. Overall, mostly happy with the purchase. The wood is solid and the shelf looks nice in my kicthen!

Very sturdy but heavy

Easy to put together. A little bit too heavy for Sheetrock. I had to use some bigger screws. I love the look with my cabinet.

WORTH IT!! 👍😷😆
Format: Paperback
After passing pharm 3 I still found I was having a difficult time recognizing which categories common drugs like omeprezole fit into. I'm at the end of nursing school and start my capstone soon. I bought this so that I will be able to confidently tell the patient about the medications I am giving them. I would highly recommend this book to beginners or even those done with school that still struggle with meds. Guerra incorporates memory tricks using mnemonics's and root words. There is even a cardio drug song!! Each chapter is divided into sections of the body that the drug treats; GI, musculoskeletal, respiratory, immune, cardio, and endocrine. Read the book slow, let it sink in, highlight and put in your own notes! I wish I had this 2 years ago! My pharm professor was very knowledable but went so fast that most concepts went over my head. This book allows you to go at you own pace to ensure that you actual absorb the information, so that you can retain it long-term. It doesn't have every drug, it has about 250 of the most common. There are re-caps and quizzes at the end of each chapter. This has been so helpful!! I hope it helps you too!!
