Jade Plants are adorable succulents that originated in South Africa and have made their way into the homes of plant parents around the world. They will bloom in their natural habitat (hot dry desert with cooler nights), but most indoor habitats are too temperate and humid for them. However, with the right conditions, a patient plant parent might be able to get theirs to bloom!
Basic Care: Jade Plants need very well-draining soil and since they are a succulent, they will absorb water into their leaves to hold on to. Water when the soil is completely dry. Jade Plants love bright light, but can tolerate low light as well. They also prefer humidity but can tolerate lower humidity environments.
