  • Echeveria simulans f/ Rayones is a charming succulent that belongs to the Crassulaceae family. Its name, "simulans," is indicative of its resemblance to other Echeveria species, particularly Echeveria Elegans. The reference to "Rayones" points to its origin in the location of Rayones, Mexico.

While both species exhibit compact rosettes and are native to Mexico, the notable differences lie in the leaf shape and color. Echeveria simulans f/ Rayones has spoon-shaped leaves with a pale blue-green color and a powdery farina coating, while Echeveria elegans features pointed leaves with a bluish-gray or silver-green color. Echeveria elegans is also slightly larger in size.

Echeveria simulans f/ Rayones typically forms compact rosettes with a diameter of several inches, but the exact size can vary based on factors like growing conditions, age, and care. On average, the rosettes can reach a moderate size of 5-6”, making them suitable for tabletop arrangements and small spaces.

While Echeveria simulans f/ Rayones typically doesn’t form a dense succulent mat, it can still be grown outdoors and incorporated into rock gardens and succulent gardens in mild climate areas.

Plants may be shipped bare root.

  • Echeveria simulans f/ Rayones flourishes in bright, indirect sunlight, requiring a minimum of six hours of daily exposure. While it can endure some direct sunlight, shielding it from intense afternoon rays is advisable, particularly in regions with hot and dry summer days.

Optimal growth for this succulent requires well-draining soil and an infrequent watering schedule. Allow the soil to thoroughly dry between watering sessions, do not overwater as succulents are vulnerable to root rot.

Echeveria simulans f/ Rayones thrives in a well-draining succulent or cactus mix. Fertilizing isn’t a must for succulents, but you can still give this plant a little growth boost during the growing season in spring-summer with some diluted liquid fertilizer. Stop fertilizing in the dormant period in fall and winter.

Maintaining temperatures between 65-75°F is ideal for this succulent. Protection from frost is crucial. Avoid high humidity (over 50%) as humid, stagnant air can lead to pests and fungal diseases.

Echeveria simulans f/ Rayones is pet-friendly and generally regarded as non-toxic to humans and pets. However, you should keep all succulents and houseplants out of the reach of pets and children to prevent potential allergic reactions.

A Must-Have Emergency Kit for Every Vehicle, Especially ATVs!
I recently bought this 54PCS Flat Tire Repair Kit with Air Compressor, and I’m seriously impressed. It’s one of those products you hope you won’t need—but are SO glad to have when the time comes. I used it on my ATV after catching a sharp rock on the trail, and it saved the day. The plug worked perfectly, and the air compressor had my tire reinflated in just a few minutes. What I really love is how complete the kit is. From cars and motorcycles to trucks and tractors, it’s got everything you need to handle a flat. The tools are solid and durable, and the case keeps everything neatly organized. It’s compact enough to toss in the back of my truck or ATV storage box without taking up too much space. If you ride ATVs in remote areas like I do, this kit is a no-brainer. It gives you peace of mind and saves you from having to hike back to civilization. Highly recommended!

Kept it in my trunk for months — used it once and it saved me
I’ve had this AUTOWN tire repair kit sitting in the trunk for several months as a “just in case” thing. I have only had to use it once, but the tools and compressor held up and it actually helped me get out of a bad spot where I didn’t have a spare tire available. Just to be clear, I wouldn’t call this a permanent fix. It’s more of an emergency repair to get you back on the road. In my case it did exactly that. Afterward, I went to a nearby tire shop and had the tire repaired the right way. Overall, I’m really glad I had it in the car. Just using it once has already paid for itself.

Saves time and money
Size: 47pcs, Size: 47pcs
I used this kit to fix a flat tire on one of my lawn tractors from a roofing nail. I used the smallest size (blue vial) and the supplied Phillips screwdriver to screw it in after applying a dab of rubber adhesive. Then I waited about 30 minutes to inflate the tire. The only thing missing from this kit is a set of pliers to pull out any nails or screws, so provide your own if you will be carrying this in your vehicle for roadside use. There are three sizes of screws, and they are steel (I expected that they would be plastic or rubber). The steel will have increased durability. The blue vials contain the smallest screws, the pink contain the medium, and the white contain the largest screws. The screws have some sort of pre-applied rubbery stuff on the threads that I believe helps them stick to the rubber with the supplied rubber adhesive. This kit is easy to use and is a great value for the amount of flat tires you can fix on your own versus the work, time, and money it takes to go to a tire shop. The black look of the screws camouflages the repair, just make sure you screw in the plug far enough into the tire that it won't contact the road or it will eventually wear off the black finish.

Tiny Tire Saver Kit
Size: 47pcs
I really like this 47 piece tire repair kit, it feels solid in my hand and the pieces aren’t flimsy at all. The rubber nails are a good size, not too bulky, and the whole set is lightweight enough to keep in the car without adding clutter. The black color looks clean and professional, and the glue works faster than I expected. For the cost, it feels like a smart buy because you get a lot of pieces and it can handle car, truck, or even motorcycle tires. It gave me peace of mind knowing I can fix a flat quickly on my own.
