As with all Chinese evergreens, it is famously tolerant of lower light and irregular watering, thriving in conditions where many houseplants would sulk.
Origins
Aglaonemas are native to the tropical and subtropical forests of Southeast Asia. 'Silver Blue' is a modern ornamental cultivar selected for its cool, silvered variegation.
Soil and Substrate
Aglaonemas prefer a rich, moisture-retentive yet well-drained substrate. Our Simply Houseplant Mix is ideally suited to 'Silver Blue'.
