Perfect for rock gardens, living walls, and green roofs, Jade Rose Hens and Chicks is easy to grow in any well-drained soil. Provide good drainage as these plants do not like their feet (roots) wet. Plants combine well with other succulents and xeriscape plants in mixed containers and look striking planted en masse along flagstone walkways or as a groundcover. Once mature, rosettes produce a pastel bloom adored by butterflies. Main rosettes die after flowering to make room for the younger offsets to mature. Through this cycle, hens and chicks live for many years to come. Plants are deer resistant and drought tolerant.
