Similar in size to straight E. purpurea, Echinacea 'White Swan' has large, daisy-like flowers with slightly drooping, white petals and large copper-orange centers. Echinacea 'White Swan' has its heaviest bloom in June/July with sporadic bloom thereafter.

This Coneflower will self sow if some seed heads are left in place. The seed heads are also savored by Goldfinch and other songbirds. Echinacea purpurea 'White Swan' is a landscaper favorite, great for the perennial border as well as meadow settings. Its long stems are nice for cutting.

Echinacea purpurea is native from Colorado to the East Coast south to Florida.

'White Swan' Coneflower prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil but it will tolerate poor soil, heat, drought, wet, and clay soil.

I bought this to make the bread in the book "Bittman Bread" by Mark Bittman and Kerri Conan, which I also bought here on Amazon. I've got a 5-1/2 quart regular and a 7-1/2 quart enameled both from Lodge and use them all the time for stuff, but I only use this 2 qt for the bread, usually more than once a week. It's great. Look up that "Bittman Bread" book and buy it from Amazon (I don't think you can insert links in the review), then definitely buy this Dutch Oven. I highly recommend both.
