Lavender Twist Weeping Redbud (Cercis canadensis 'Covey') erupts in a profusion of lavender flowers that cascade down weeping stems in springtime. This cultivar of our native redbud tree takes the traditional upright form of the species to a new dimension of elegance with its flowing habit. If your landscape design needs a stunning focal point that is colorful as well as architectural, you can't find a plant that delivers more resoundingly than Lavender Twist Redbud.

Host plant for 24 species of Lepidoptera, including the white flannel moth, Henry’s elfin butterfly, Redbud Leaffolder, Promiscuous Angle, and Cenopis chambersana. Flowers are visited by hummingbirds, butterflies, honey bees, and many species of native bees. The seeds are eaten by finches, juncos, nuthatches, cardinals, and rose-breasted grosbeaks.

Growing Habit

Cascading twisted branches display petite pink-tinted lavender-colored blooms for 3 to 4 weeks in early spring. As the mature blooms fade, bright green heart-shaped foliage will begin to grow. Companion plants for the lavender twist redbud tree include Virginia bluebells, daffodils, candytuft, and woodland phlox. The weeping lavender twist reaches heights of 5 to 15 feet at maturity and thrives in zones 5-9.

Great purchase
Color: Black/White/Black, Color: Black/White/Black
The perfect watch for my eyes. White background with black hour and the second hand. Standard stuff… It’s all about the simple things that matter to me. The indigo green light might not appeal to everyone (look at the price). The band is fabric with Velcro to adjust. I’ve work this watch day and night. A near perfect fit. Easy to adjust and it’s comfortable for me, the look is just right for me. A no brainer to set up immediately. Time (?) will tell about minute creep or over all durability, A nice affordable watch that I I’ll wear everyday under all conditions. If I loose it I’ll buy another one.

Inexpensive Box Checker That Works Great!
Color: Black/White/Black
Although I have a few watches I was looking for something that was more camping specific. Something that was EASILY legible to my 56 year old vision - both in daytime and night. I needed it to have some waterproofness ability as I would also using it for kayaking. I had a Timex Expedition watch with a black dial that I gave to my son as I wanted one with a white face which I find easier to read. I gave this watch some serious consideration after seeing so many YTbers give Timex field watches the thumbs up. I came upon this model and then when I saw one available under $30 it became a no-brainer! I used it recently for its intended purpose - a 3 day camping weekend. So here are my observations. The strap is probably the only negative to the watch for me as I have big hands and need to undo it completely to feed the strap through the buckle. A minor hindrance. Once its on it's light and comfortable. I may eventually change out the strap...or I may not. The watch is easily legible and nothing, I MEAN NOTHING, beats Timex's "Indiglo" feature for nighttime. Forget "watch lume" as nothing is a visibly legible at nights as "Indiglo". I have a Casio watch that has a light feature but that cannot hold a candle to this watch's nighttime ability. On a kayak trip, I overturned the kayak and the watch was in the water so it held up nicely for that. The watch is rated for 100M so that was nothing for it I know. It's hard to find a watch that does so much at this price point. I would definitely recommend it for someone looking for the features that it has in an inexpensive package.

Decent watch, bad warranty.
Color: Black/White/Black
Decent watch, good design, solid strap. Bad warranty. I spent a little bit more money to get a better quality product with a name brand warranty, and I feel like it was a waste of money. The backlight stopped working within 6 months. I replaced the battery, but it didn't help. I started the process of a warranty repair with Timex, but then found out they have a $8 fee for in-warranty repair. With the cost of the watch being what it is, I'll just deal with the broken backlight. Next time I'll spend less money on cheap disposable non-brand name watches
