Philodendron hederaceum, commonly known as Philodendron scandens or the heartleaf philodendron, is a popular houseplant appreciated for its attractive, heart-shaped leaves and vining growth habit. The variegated variety, often referred to as Philodendron hederaceum 'Variegata' features leaves with striking patterns of light and dark green, sometimes with creamy white or yellow variegation.

Native to: This species originates from the rainforests of Central America and the Caribbean, where it thrives as a climbing plant in the understory, attaching itself to tree trunks and larger plants.

Water: Allow the top third of the potting medium to dry out before watering again. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's important to ensure the potting mix is well-draining.

Light: Provide bright, indirect light to maintain vibrant colour and encourage healthy growth. Direct sunlight can cause leaf scorching, while insufficient light may slow growth and reduce variegation.

Humidity: While it can tolerate average household humidity levels, providing moderate to high humidity is beneficial.

Temperature: Maintain indoor temperatures between 18-27°C for optimal growth. Avoid exposing the plant to cold drafts or sudden temperature fluctuations, as these can cause stress and hinder growth.

One bottle covered my 20ft camping trailer 4 coats and with a little remaining for future touch ups. It definitely increases the gloss. I'm glad I didn't waste my time with wax. This is like an easy wipe on clear coat. I will report back in the future for longevity.

poli glow shine
its works great .when applying more coats the shinier it gets i used on several old boats because the florida sun bakes the jell coat right off and no wax made can withstand salty seas , so why not ,, when you apply use the mit and don't gob it on .. nice and easy and recoat in five minutes when you get to about five coats you will be amazed.looks like new .. just a tip also after about a year or so and you want to re apply,, go to your local hardware store and get a gallon of high strength or non diluted floor stripper and put in spray bottle and use to remove old poli-glow also great for cleaning stubborn stains [ i use full strength ] just spray on and brush with a scrub brush and rinse ..and let dry and re apply ,, its also works on car faded bumpers ,, also never use harsh cleaners it will cause streaking the best thing i have found for cleaning the boat after poli glow was put on is car wash from auto store with wax or not it seems not to hurt the shine . it reminds me of mop an glow,,.

Poli Glow used on bottom portion of the picture
Just put it on 21 foot RV, was impressed with the shine. Key is to make sure the applicator is moist. I periodically dampen with water. Realizing it wasn't going to revive the stickers. Question is How long it will last? What will it look like after it rains? Pictures attached, bottom portion was done with poli glow on June 7,2026 and I have just under a half of bottle left. Maybe I will update once it rains or how long the shine last.
