After you finish mini-scaping, we provide boxes for transport and written care instructions to take home.
Our enclosed botanical designs and succulents are naturally more sustainable by requiring less water and exceeding life after design.

Onsite Group Build Instructions 

  1. Schedule your desired build date and choose your start time from the drop-down menu. Keep in mind that workshops are about an hour for smaller classes to an hour and a half long for larger classes.
  2. Select one Couple’s Build. The class starts at $65 per builder and covers individual builder fees so each attendee can build.
  3. Need to schedule more? Find our OFFSITE BUILD here.
  4. Show up for your selected time and we build!

Additional Tips for the Class

We ask you have everyone paid 24 hours in advance from the party date and time. 
2. BYOB is welcome, but we ask if you bring food, you eat before we start building, because...well...dirt. :)
3. Free Parking in parking lot, occasionally there will be events where the lot is full, so feel free to park on the curb on the street. 

4. There's a lot to do on our neighborhood on Springdale Rd, so make a day of it.

Since we are a small business production we ask that you respect our time. In this one hour class, we give you all the elements, plus tips and tricks to get you from A to Z in terrarium building.  $1/minute per person will be charged if your event runs longer than that scheduled. However, we allow about 10-15 minutes of time before and after sessions, to situate and finish up.

I’d just finished reading Jules Gil-Peterson’s A Short History and felt a little unsatisfied and uncomfortable with all the orientialism. I picked this up and was immediately sure I had the antidote. Bhatt is clear, direct, and uncompromising. She avoids filler and gets right to the heart of things—“how is this not like blackface?” gets dealt with more thoroughly and decisively than I have ever seen it within the first few pages. She reveals the transmisogyny lurking in even nominally queer social and intellectual movements, and also finds pockets of beautiful solidarity and common ground in some surprising places. Above all, her love for women shines through every word. This book cleared up some misconceptions I had, made me cry, and will make me a better partner and comrade to trans women. Buy it.

This is a really excellent book. A lot of anthologies of essays have great essays in them, as this one does, but not all of them work as well as a cohesive text as Trans/ Rad/Fem does. I'd recommend this for anyone interested in transfeminism, even if you'd already read individual essays from Bhatt's newsletter by the same name. As with the essays in their newsletter format, The Third Sex and The Questions Has an Answer were my favorite. Bhatt's writing has such force and clarity that I look forward to reading whatever she chooses to write about next.
