Large, 6" bright yellow blooms with wide, ruffled petals sit atop scapes that reach 25" in our East Tennessee garden. Popular with our garden visitors because it's such an eye-catching beauty and because of its scent— Lights of Evening is one of our most fragrant daylilies.
As an early to mid season bloomer we begin to see the vibrant yellow blooms of Lights of Evening around the first of June. If you live to our north, you’ll see them a bit later than we do. If you live to our south, you’ll get to see these adorable blooms a couple of weeks before us. Good rebloom means you'll see these bright blooms off and on throughout the season.
Lights of Evening is a semi-evergreen daylily. This means that it can be grown in gardens across the country.
Thanks to its clear yellow color, Lights of Evening can be considered a neutral in the garden. It looks fantastic with everything!
