Echeveria ‘Longissima x Raindrops’ is a distinctive hybrid combining the elongated, graceful foliage of Echeveria longissima with the unusual raised leaf caruncles of Echeveria ‘Raindrops’. The rosette is compact and symmetrical, with thick, fleshy leaves in a blue-green hue. Mature foliage develops the characteristic “raindrops” near the tips—small, rounded bumps formed by a genetic mutation that also aid in water storage.

Under bright sunlight or in cooler weather, the leaf margins and tips often flush with red or pink, intensifying with reduced watering, winter conditions, or other environmental stress. In optimal conditions, plants grow to around 10 cm high and up to 25 cm across, making them well suited to containers, courtyard displays, or rock gardens.

In late spring to summer, this hybrid produces slender, upright inflorescences bearing clusters of bell-shaped flowers in warm coral to orange-red tones. Its parent species, E. longissima, is native to highland regions of Mexico, giving this hybrid an inherent tolerance for bright light and dry conditions.

For best results, plant in a sharply draining succulent mix, such as one containing coarse sand, perlite, or pumice. Position in full sun to part shade, ensuring at least several hours of direct light daily to maintain compact growth and strong colour. Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry completely between waterings. Protect from frost, as temperatures below about 4 °C may damage the foliage. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, responding well to occasional fertilising during the active growing season.

Echeveria ‘Longissima x Raindrops’ plants for sale shown in 70mm pot. You will receive same or similar plants as those shown in images. Colours will vary depending on time of year and growing conditions.

If you love your dog…don’t buy this.
Color: Orange
We have a nonaggressive English cocker. She opened the ball every time she played with it. And yes, we are closing it as hard as we can. I do not recommend this toy for any dog! This is a dangerous toy for a dog that is not supervised.

Fun but not for rough play.
Color: Orange
The ball contented our “golden” Jaxson for about 15 minutes. He then thought it was a regular ball and it’s just a little delicate for a big dog. I just wrote it off as a loss. Great idea but should be more durable.

dog ball
Color: Blue
This ball is perfect for keeping my dog active and entertained. It's made of strong, durable material, ideal for games of fetch. It doesn't break easily and is light enough for him to carry in his mouth without any problem.

One Tough Ball!
Color: Blue
Our dogs are loving this ball. Our 1 yr old hound is a world-class chewer and he can't make a dent in this ball. The interactive buzzing and bouncing keeps them entertained for long durations. It's a mite noisy but the barking from the 1 yr old is much louder, lol. Even turned off, they like playing with it and chewing on it. Based on the tough construction, we think it will last much longer than traditional chew balls.
