Each plantable whale comes chock full of a mix of perennial and annual flower seeds embedded right in the paper — you can grow them. These make super sweet baptism and baby shower favors or charming favors for beach or nautical theme weddings. Many options are available for plantable whales of all different forms - with or without plantable hearts, personalized cards, plantable pots, and more.
SIZE: 3 inches inches wide, about 2.5 inches tall. Cards are included unless you choose 'just whales.' If you choose just whales, only the whales are sent - no hearts, no cards. Instead, you can use a free PDF template to make the same cards shown. You can choose the style from the menu.
If you choose whales with hearts tied on, we will use tan raffia unless arrangements are made for another color *before* your order. Please email us to make sure we have the color you desire in stock. We always have tan, and almost always have either blue, red or sunshine yellow.

White, cream, pale yellow, sunshine yellow, golden yellow, dark/mustard yellow, butterscotch, light baby blue, medium/cornflower blue, faded navy/dark blue, slate blue/blue gray, light baby pink, pink, dark/hot pink, rose, red, peach, salmon/orange, burnt orange, chartreuse, kiwi, mint green, dark green, sage, olive, seafoam green, aqua, turquoise, teal, light lavender/lilac, purple, light gray, and charcoal gray. Custom colors are available by request. Please contact us if you do not see a color you're looking for in the menu.
Seeds are fresh and a premium blend we have hand selected for being desirable garden flowers instead of 'weedy.' They are meant for planting in 2018-2019. Seeds included in the paper are a mix of annuals, for first year color, and perennials for blooms in the years to follow: Snapdragons, cosmos, daisies, zinnia, poppies, cornflowers, forget-me-nots, asters, columbine, black-eyed susans, calendula, marigold, lupine, and Sweet William/dianthus. Planting is simple but not foolproof: Plant on or just under fertile soil in warm sunlight and keep wet to grow.

All paper is made-to-order to promote freshness. Through winter, the wait time after most orders are placed is about 4-7 business days before an order ships. During spring and summer, orders take longer, 2-3 weeks. If you need your order within a specific time frame, please contact us to see if your order can arrive in time.
