This bulk pack contains 8,000 cosmos seeds (approximately 1.8 oz) for planting annual flowers in outdoor gardens, borders, and wildflower areas. Cosmos are reliable, easy-to-grow annuals that bloom from early summer through the first frost, reaching heights of 3 to 5 feet. These seeds are non-GMO.
- Seed count: 8,000 seeds / 1.8 oz
- Plant type: Annual flower, direct sow outdoors
- Bloom colors: Pink, white, and purple
- Mature height: 3 to 5 feet tall
- Sun requirement: Full sun
- Soil preference: Well-drained; adapts to many soil types
- Drought tolerance: Good - requires minimal watering once established
- Bloom period: Early summer through first frost
- Pollinator-friendly: Attracts bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects
- Cut flower use: Long stems make cosmos well-suited for cut flower arrangements
Growing Tips
- Sow seeds directly outdoors after the last frost date, pressing them lightly into the soil surface. Cosmos need light to germinate and should not be buried deep.
- Choose a location with full sun and well-drained soil. Avoid overly rich or heavily fertilized soil, which encourages leafy growth at the expense of blooms.
- Water regularly until seedlings are established, then reduce watering. Cosmos are tolerant of dry conditions once they have rooted in.
- Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continued flowering through the season, or leave flowers on the plant to self-seed for the following year.
- Plants reach 3 to 5 feet tall and work well as a back border plant or backdrop for shorter flowers.

Audiobook has TERRIBLE narrator; book is very techical
Format: Hardcover
So this is a fascinating book -- the author has an incredible depth and breadth of knowledge in a vast array of technical (and medical) subjects. Note this is a much more technical book than your typical science book intended for the educated layperson. That's a big plus for me, but others might be put off by the level of detail.
The main fault with the book is the audiobook's narrator, Adam Barr. He has a deep voice that is easy to understand, but he is just about as dull as can be, sounding as if he's reading the ingredients on a can of soup. I ended up buying the hardcover version of the book because the audiobook could not hold my attention -- because of the narrator, not because of the content, which is amazing.
I wish more narrators would take a page (ha ha) from talented pros such as Ray Porter and Wil Wheaton. Just because this book is nonfiction doesn't mean it can't be read with heart, as if the reader was speaking to me personally, with enthusiasm, and not just reading words out loud.

The Final Warning
Format: Kindle
No more heads up after this one guys. Ray is not known for missing futurological insights. He’s placed many predictions within this work and it’s my belief that they will occur even sooner than he imagines. That said, the time for comfort with our current way of living is over, and this book functions as the last glance of insight to carry you through with knowledge of what could be. Without it, you are very likely to be entirely blindsighted.
The world is changing much faster than the vast majority of people realize. Even those paying close attention to technology. Learn what you can do you can prepare. This book is likely the best way to get ahead of the curve, and adds many new concepts and refinement than the first in the series

An Excellent Behind-The-Scenes Account Of A Chaotic Congress
Format: Kindle
This book was exactly what I hoped it would be - informative, well written, and a little bit gossipy while also thoroughly researched and fair to both sides. Do the Republicans who ran Congress in 2023 and 2024 come off looking incompetent and foolish? Yes, but that’s because the authors accurately report the things they did, not because of any bias they have. If you’re a political junky or just interested in how our political system works (or, in this case, doesn’t work) then you’ll enjoy this book.
