Whitney Farms® Organic Potting Soil is a rich premium blend of organic materials and natural fertilizer that allows you to grow beautiful and bountiful container gardens - naturally. This potting mix is formulated with organic materials plants love like kelp and alfalfa meal, and feeds for up to 2 months. It is great for your favorite indoor and outdoor container plants, including vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs. Using this potting soil is as easy as can be. Simply select a pot with a drainage hole and fill pot about 1/3 full with Whitney Farms® Organic Potting Soil. Loosen the root ball and place your plant in the pot. Add more mix, then press lightly. Finish the job by watering. Always let soil dry to the touch between waterings. Do not allow plants to sit in drainage water. For best results, give your plants a boost with one of our Whitney Farms® plant food products after 2 months. To avoid soil compaction and replenish nutrients, container plants should be repotted annually with fresh Whitney Farms® Organic Potting Soil.
