I was really looking for something rather heavy in weight (because of the metal) but elegant looking. I guess this is just one of those items that you actually need to see and feel before purchasing. I kept it because I needed some kind of soap dispenser after another soap dispenser, of which I purchased from Amazon over a year ago, it was made of plastic, and it broke. It was heavy and really looked nice on my sink. I guess I am still looking for a good one.
