Ananas comosus var. microstachys is an ornamental pineapple native to the tropical zones of South America. Like most members of the family Bromeliaceae, the leaves are arranged in a rosette formation. 'Dwarf Pineapple' has leaves that are sword-shaped, long and stiff, edged with sharp spines. Flowers are clustered on top of the flower stalk which emerges from the center of the plant. The small fruit is a collective fruit which is formed from the fusion of individual fruits. Fruits are pink in color, changing to pale yellow at maturity. Ananas comosus var. microstachys typically grows up to a height of 12 to 24 inches and spreads up to a diameter of 24 to 36 inches. Prefers full sun, light water and well-draining soil. It is drought tolerant. (Pot size: 6" pot)

I was really excited to try the Steve Madden Women's Wafer Heeled Sandals, but unfortunately, I’m disappointed with the quality. Definitely go up an entire size in these. I used to work at Steve Madden and can tell you with 100% confidence if you're ever buying one of their heels with a pointier toe, you need to go up an entire size or your foot is going to suffer. I will vouch for how comfortable they are though given the height and the shape - they're as comfortable as a heel like this could be for sure!
