Overview

Variant SKU: PSP0256

Navigate® Herbicide – Aquatic Weed Killer for Ponds & Lakes

Navigate® Granular Aquatic Herbicide is a powerful 2,4-D based selective herbicide designed to control submerged and floating broadleaf weeds in ponds and lakes.

Formulated on heat-treated attaclay granules, Navigate sinks quickly to the bottom, releasing the active ingredient directly into the root zone for maximum effectiveness. It is especially effective against Eurasian Watermilfoil and other invasive aquatic weeds.

Pond Weeds Controlled
  • Watermilfoil (including Eurasian Watermilfoil)
  • Water Stargrass
  • Bladderwort
  • White & Yellow Water Lily (Spatterdock)
  • Water Shield
  • Water Chestnut
  • Coontail*

*Repeat treatments may be necessary for resistant species.

How to Apply
  • Apply evenly using a broadcast spreader.
  • Typical rate: 5–7.5 lbs per 2,000 sq ft.
  • Rates vary from 100–200 lbs per acre depending on target weed.
  • 50 lb bag treats up to approximately 20,000 sq ft.

Initial results appear within 7–10 days. Full control typically occurs within 3–5 weeks as weeds die and decompose.

For heavy infestations, apply in lanes with untreated buffer strips (50–100 ft wide) to prevent oxygen depletion. Treat buffer areas after initial treated zones have decomposed.

When to Apply

Best results occur when applied in spring and early summer while weeds are actively growing.

Late season applications are possible but may require repeat treatments and results may not be fully visible until the following season.

Water pH below 8 generally yields best performance.

Active Ingredient

27.6% 2,4-D (Butoxyethyl Ester of 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid)

Specially formulated granular carrier resists rapid breakdown and delivers chemical directly to the plant root zone.

Oxygen & Water Quality Considerations

As treated weeds decompose, they consume oxygen. When weed density is heavy, treat in sections to maintain proper dissolved oxygen levels for fish safety.

For enhanced breakdown of dead vegetation, beneficial bacteria such as Muck Remover may be applied after treatment.

Great natural product
Size: 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I use this product for surfing and most of the natural sunscreens end up burning my eyes. This one does not run or rub off. After trying a bunch of other brands this has been my go to for the last couple of years.

Healthy Sunscreen
Size: 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Really great sunscreen without the harmful chemicals. Takes a bit longer to rub in since it sits on top of your skin vs. getting absorbed.

Best sunscreen on market
Size: 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Forget using carcinogenic chemicals. Use zinc and titanium to form a physical block. This stuff is of the best. Period.

Good Mineral Sunscreen
Size: 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Yes, it leaves a white cast, but it isn’t as thick and sticky as most out there. Very few ingredients makes me happy. I’ve tried mineral sunscreens with all zinc and they feel smothering, and like velvet everything sticks to the face. This one, with smaller amounts of zinc and titanium is better. It will pill if you use too much and rub too vigorously.
