Daphne odora 'Hewreb' is an evergreen shrub with green leaves widely margined in ivory with fragrant pink flowers. Daphne odora 'Hewreb' is a MUST HAVE plant for every garden that has a warm climate. Daphne odora 'Hewreb' is a beautiful evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves widely margined with ivory but the main reason to grow this great plant is for its INTENSELY fragrant pink flowers in the spring. Daphne odora 'Hewreb' is great as a specimen and even better as mass or mixed plantings. The biggest enemy of Daphne odora 'Hewreb' is water - dry sites are best. Plant near the base of a large tree that will pull all the water out of the soil. Irrigated areas are lethal - its difficult to find a sport that isn't too dry! Daphne odora 'Hewreb' grows best in bright to nearly sunny locations but will tolerate shadier areas that are dry.
