Echeveria ‘Neon Breakers’ is a succulent plant of the genus Echeveria in the Crassulaceae family, bred by Renee O'Connell an American breeder. It is one of the few species in the crinkly leaf cabbage family among tens of thousands of succulent species. Not only is the plant dignified and beautiful, but also the sturdy stems (with thin leaves) are arranged in a standard rosette shape in an orderly manner, and the edges are wavy with small serrations. It is characterized by finely pleated leaf margins and a thin layer of white frost on the leaf surface. The foliage color is bright pink or purple-red in full sun with some temperature difference. Prefers a sunny and well-ventilated environment. The plant is extremely attractive with its wrapped shape and purple-red leaves when it is raised.

Care Tips

Light: Needs sufficient light prolonged lack of light is easy to fade (spread like a large pie) and even the leaf edge of the fold will slowly fade, and the leaf color to gray-blue or blue-pink. In contrast, sufficient sunlight in a relatively dry environment leaves slightly wrapped inward, the leaf color deep purple to pink-purple ornamental better.

Water: Should follow the watering principle of "not dry, not watering". With these plants, the soak and dry method is best. Soak the soil completely and don't water it again till it's completely dry. In spring and autumn, you can wait for the soil to dry out and water thoroughly (about 1-2 weeks). In summer and winter, control the water appropriately or even cut off the water, and observe that the bottom leaves of the succulent are wrinkled and watered a little less along the side of the pot.

Soil: The soil should be loose and breathable with a certain percentage (60%) of granular substrate, and the growth rate can be controlled by adjusting the proportion of granular soil.

Potting: It is recommended to use ceramic pots. Ceramic pots have a certain degree of permeability. Clay pots lose water too quickly, plastic pots tend to retain water for too long and permeability is poor.

Temperature: The most suitable temperature range for growth is 50-77°F (10-25℃). Fear of freezing during winter time. If the maintenance temperature is lower than 41°F (5 ℃), you must cut off water treatment, wait until the temperature warms up and then give water. If the maintenance temperature exceeds 50°F (10 ℃), it can still grow slowly, but the winter light is poor.

Humidity: Neon Breakers grow well in average household humidity levels when grown indoors. Prefers a relatively dry environment. Normal household humidity is good for this plant.

    Care Instructions

Please visit our Succulent Care info page for more details.

To ensure the health of succulents, it is important to plant them in porous, well-draining soil. Succulents require little watering, but don't like to sit in wet soil. To create an adequate cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage.

Make sure to leave drought periods between waterings to prevent the plant from water-logging.

Has both Middle English and modern English
    Format: Paperback
This translation of "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" has alternating the original Middle English on the left page and a modern English translation by James Winny on the right page. The translation is well done and it retains the Medieval feel of the original author. I have no intention of learning the northern dialect of Middle English but it was interesting to look at the language and see what it was like. "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" was written in the 1300s and it is written in the form of a poem. It starts out at the court of King Arthur on New Year's Day. A green knight shows up and asks if anyone at the court will give a blow with a battle-axe that day and receive a blow with it twelve months and a day later. Arthur agrees to do it but Sir Gawain steps in and offers to do it instead. The green knight receives the blow by Gawain which cuts off his head. The green knight picks up his head and tells Gawain to fulfill his promise by seeking him out at the Green Chapel to receive a blow from the battle-axe in return. Sir Gawain then leaves King Arthur's court to find the Green Chapel and fulfill his promise. The poem "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" is different from other Arthurian works. It is more barbaric and earthier. In some respects it is like other Arthurian works in that it romanticizes the mythical era of King Arthur portraying it as a time of luxury. My impression when reading the poem was that the scenery in Britain is quite beautiful. I hope to go to Britain one day. Themes found in the poem include a praise of courage. The poem also stresses however that one should not be too courageous. Resisting temptation is also a theme of the poem. The resistance of temptation is the main part of the story. The poem doesn't shy away from detailing the attraction between men and women. The Christian notion that adultery is wrong is shown. The poem plays around with the concept of adultery making it out to be somewhat of a joke. "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" also has a long part detailing the hunting of animals by a lord. The poem goes into so much detail describing the hunt that it is almost as if the poem is teaching the reader how to do it. My conclusion upon reading "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" is that it is a fine example of an Arthurian work. It has all the messages one would normally find in an Arthurian work. The poem toys with the idea of evil in a humorous way as Arthurian works generally do. For readers of Arthurian legend, "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" is an important work in the genre.

    Read for a college course
    Format: Paperback
This is a really fascinating subversion of the tropes of courtly love. Roles generally given to women are given to religion, and quests that in earlier literature are completely external are internalized. I read this for a college course on Arthurian romances and it was definitely one of my favorite books we read. This version has the Middle English (which is difficult Middle English, by the way -- more difficult than Chaucer) on one page and a modern English translation on the facing page.

    Quality little package
I’m impressed. This is a good example of doing something simple, but doing it right. The packaging is great - a simple box with 2 perfectly snug plastic containers inside, each containing a plastic-wrapped tongue scraper. The scrapers felt hefty and sturdy. When I used one, it seemed effective and easy to use. While I haven’t noticed a drastic change in taste, it did visibly scrape off at least some dead cells and mucus or other coating lingering on my tongue even after brushing. The price was great too. If you want to add a tongue scraper into your dental hygiene routine, I would honestly recommend this one.

You Gotta Fight... For Your Right... To TONNNNNGGUUEEE SCRAPE
I love these tongue scrapers. This was a new years resolution for this year because of all the benefits I have heard about tongue scrapping 1) Removes Bacteria 2) Better Sense of Taste 3) Activates Organs 5) Better Digestion 6) Removes Bad Breath ...to just name a few. This scraper is great quality. Its easy to clean I just run it under hot water for a few seconds after I'm done and I havent seen any gross build up or residue stick. They dont taste funny... they dont taste like anything at all to be honest.
