Pristine Blue Extra is a chlorine shock specifically designed for the Pristine Blue Chemicals. It is typically added every other week, but can be added more frequently based on your bather load or if your water requires additional shock treatment. Alternatively, you can opt for Pristine Power (a non-chlorine shock) to shock your Pristine Blue water. With 99% Sodium Di-Chlor as its primary ingredient, Pristine Extra for pools is an efficient and fast-acting shock treatment for starting up the pristine blue products system or addressing any issues. It can also be used for regular maintenance. Pristine Extra quickly dissipates, returning your water to a non-chlorine state.

Product Dosage
Pristine Extra is a chlorine shock treatment.
For Pools:
- 1 pound per 10,000 gallons of water.
For Spas or Hot Tubs:
- 5 milliliters (1 teaspoon) per 100 gallons of water. Do not exceed once per day.
Important:
- Never allow the undissolved chemical to rest on surfaces.
- Chlorine level needs to be below 3 ppm before swimming or using a hot tub or spa for safety.
Shelf Life:
- Pristine Blue 64 oz can be used from season to season if stored in a closed container above 32° Fahrenheit.
- Pristine Clean, Pristine Check, Pristine Clear, no expiration on effectiveness.
- Pristine Blue Shock Pristine Power, Pristine Blue Extra, are most effective if used within 1 year of purchase, but continue to a degree for several years when stored properly.
- Pristine Blue Test Kit reagents and PristineStrips have a shelf life of 2 years.
