About the Cherry Hot Pepper

The Cherry Hot is a Capsicum annuum variety known for its round, cherry-shaped pods and balanced heat. Plants typically grow around 2–2.5 feet tall and produce abundant 1–2 inch thick-walled peppers that ripen from green to bright red.

Flavor is slightly sweet with a medium kick, making Cherry Hot peppers ideal for fresh use and preserving. Their thick walls also make them a favorite for stuffing and pickling.

  • Heat Level: Mild to medium (approximately 5,000–15,000 Scoville Heat Units)

  • Flavor: Sweet, rich, and moderately spicy

  • Pepper Appearance: Small, round red peppers with thick walls

  • Culinary Use: Pickling, stuffing, fresh use, cooking, and preserving

Growing & Care Information

  • Grower Experience Level: Intermediate

  • Growth Habit: Compact, productive plant

  • Mature Plant Size: Approximately 2–2.5 feet tall

Impressed!
Size: 1 Case Teaspoons (1000)
Wow! Instead of arriving in a huge box with spoons in disarray, these came in an easy to store box with the contents neatly packaged.

Low price matches low quality.
Size: 1 Case Teaspoons (1000)
You get what you pay for. There is a reason that these spoons are 1/2 the cost of a more durable Dixie branded teaspoon. These are just too flimsy. Will not buy again; lesson learned.

These are perfect and exactly what I needed, great quality. They are a lot cheaper than in the grocery store. And I won't be running out any time soon!

Cheap but expected, worked as intended, none of them broke.
Size: 1000 Teaspoons
Seems to be cheap quality but what else can you expect for the price? I needed something cheap that would work for cold foods, and these delivered. They lasted me forever and I didn’t have any break, I just didn’t trust them with super hot foods. I will buy again in a heartbeat though because for everything else they work great. They are small spoons that don’t hold much, bend easily, are really lightweight and I wish they came in portions or wraps because after opening they sat there collecting dust through the hole in the box and so I had to transfer them to a closed container for sanitary purposes. Again though, I didn’t really expect anything else, so I’m happy regardless.
