This variety produces charming violet-purple or pure white blooms in spring, followed by decorative flat seedpods that shimmer like silver coins. The plants are easy to grow, self-sow freely, and thrive even in partial shade or poor soil.

Sowing Instructions
- Direct sowing: Best sown directly in autumn or early spring in 3 mm deep drills spaced 30 cm apart. Keep soil moist until germination and thin seedlings to 15 cm.
- Indoor sowing: Sow onto loam-based compost; lightly cover with a thin layer of grit. Maintain warmth at 18°C for 6–8 weeks, then cold stratify at 5°C for another 6–8 weeks. Return to warmth to trigger germination. Repeat warm–cold cycle if needed.
- Note: Germination can be slow and erratic — patience is key.
Growing Notes
- Thrives in less-than-perfect spots — including part shade and poor soil

Harvesting & Drying
- Harvest seedheads in late summer to autumn when pods are mature and paper-like

Love it.

I love my epson workforce printer. I used to be a Canon person but once I got this printer. It changed my mind. So the ink is worth it. Especially in the bundle package. It may be a bit on the pricey side but it last me awhile. At least, in my opinion, it’s less expensive than buying them separately. Epson makes great stuff and glad I chose to stick with them. The ink is very good and looks great after it prints. Thanks to Epson for functionality, cost and efficiency when it comes you your products.

Well performing ink for my particular printer

These inks work well, and are easy to install. They do not last long. They follow the current apparent marketing scheme of offering a a very good printer at a very favorable price, but charging relatively high prices for the ink. I understand that people need to make a profit somewhere.
