It is relatively cold-hardy and shade-tolerant, with some tolerance to waterlogging and barren soil, but it grows best in well-drained, fertile, loose soils in sunny, wind-sheltered locations. When planting, provide walls, trellises, or other supports to accommodate its climbing habit. It grows rapidly and has a long lifespan. Spring and autumn are the best planting seasons, but note that 2–3 years of care are needed before it reaches full bloom. Good Size and Quality, But Strong Odor

These bags are a nice size and seem durable, especially for larger items. However, they arrived with a very strong odor that was noticeable as soon as I opened the package.
