This spectacular red aquarium/paludarium lily is a true "centerpiece" plant that can grow to an impressive size and it can also produce beautiful flowers!

Red Tiger Lotus Aquarium Lily (Nymphaea zenkeri) is a remarkable red bulb plant that is native to Africa. It is known for its triangular leaves and, as its name states, its deep red coloration. It can grow to a very large size of 30+ inches tall and 20+ inches wide under optimal conditions. It will sometimes flower when kept in shallow enough water or emersed conditions, so it is a terrific plant for paludariums as well.

Care for Dwarf Aquarium Lily is very easy. Its bulb base must not be completely buried in the substrate or it will rot. In fact, burying just 1/4 of the bulb in the substrate should be sufficient. Also, this warm water plant will sometimes quickly deteriorate if the temperature is too low. Finally, it will periodically go through dormant periods where it will shed its leaves for a few weeks, but then grow new leaves. With quality care, the Red Tiger Lotus Aquarium Lily will grow at a moderate rate. It propagates through shoots, and once new growth has roots of its own, it can be cut and replanted. Please note that this plant can emit a chemical that is somewhat harmful to other plants that are in very close proximity (i.e. - constantly touching the lily), so it is necessary to give the Red Tiger Lotus Aquarium Lily adequate space. If this is done, it will not harm other plants. Its growth can be controlled by regular pruning, limiting lighting, and/or confining the bulb and root structure to a contained space such as a glass container. Trimming its flowers before they wilt will also inhibit seed production.

In addition to its attractive appearance, Red Tiger Lotus Aquarium Lily provides a valuable refuge for aquarium animals, especially dwarf shrimp, nano fish, and fry. Red Tiger Lotus Aquarium Lily can easily flourish and grow to become a major centerpiece of the planted aquarium!

Like most plants, Red Tiger Lotus Aquarium Lily has moderate nutrient requirements and will benefit from supplementation such as Seachem Flourish, Flourish Excel, Nitrogen and other plant supplements.

No aquarium plant distributor/nursery/wholesaler/retailer can or will guarantee their plants to be 100% snail free. We can not guarantee our plants will be snail free.

***PLEASE NOTE - This plant can sometimes arrive as a bulb with no leaves attached. This is normal, and in most cases, new leaves will sprout within a few weeks. If your Red Tiger Lily bulb loses its leaves upon arrival, please plant it as usual if the bulb is still firm and healthy. If it does not begin to re-sprout, please contact us and we will honor our live arrival guarantee and replace it or credit you!

Amazing
Format: Kindle
I have read books 1 - 4 of conversations with God and I am speechless. At first I was skeptical could God really speak to us so freely? But after reading and putting into practice what has been taught through these books I too am having conversations with God. How amazing is that!

Incredible book!!
Format: Kindle
August 16, 2025 I confess that I have not yet read conversations 1,2 or 3 but this one caught my eye so I started reading. Very great book! I enjoyed the chapters on light and on giving, I really appreciate the candidness of Father God, it got me when he said “I’m not asking you to take care of EVERY homeless person… what I am asking you to do is to take care of one!” Father God then continued “if you take away one thing from this book… give to the homeless, buy them a meal, buy them a drink and give them some money. Ask them how their day is going today and just treat them like human beings! When you ignore them, it is like you are ignoring my son Jesus!” So good! I also love how father God said: “we are not asking you to do the impossible, just obey the commands and the teachings of my son Jesus, just be the light and love people” and I love how the Father delved into the details! I hope that this review helps and I’ll be reading 7 keys to be intimate with Jesus soon. Amen! Thank you Father & thank you Matthew Robert for writing this and God bless you sir if you read this review 👍🏿

State of the Art Book!
This book was recommended to me by my graduate school professor as being the most up-to-date, most inclusive book on trauma therapy that exists today, and that it is! First, it is written in an organized and coherent manner. It is extraordinarily well written and engaging which is amazing for a text of this type. It contains information on just about every subject that a beginning trauma therapist as well as a well-seasoned therapist would want to know! This is an incredible book and my only criticism is that, knowing how much I shall be referring to it, it is only a paperback and I wish it were a hardcover so that it will withstand the test of time in better condition. The price is extraordinarily reasonable when one considers the cost of most textbooks these days. I highly, highly recommend this book as a MUST read for every trauma therapist, or trauma therapist in training. I cannot say enough excellent things about the Briere and Scott text. Buy it. You will not regret it for a moment! In addition, after purchasing the DSM-V, I can say that although this book was written before the DSM-V came out, it dovetails with it extremely well, and is a perfect book to purchase after getting the new DSM-V if you don't already have Principles of Trauma Therapy. It is for anyone who is a mandated reporter also, as I am. Presently, I'm a doctoral candidate in Special Education, and find that this book will be helpful there as well. As a person who has worked directly in Special Education for over 11 years, and have had professional contact with Special Needs children for over thirty years, this book is a must--for anyone who works with children, teens, (or adults who have just disclosed trauma) whether you are in Psychology or Special Education, or any allied field that makes you a mandated reporter. The book is a MUST HAVE.

Excellent book for students trying to grasp PTSD
As a professor teaching post traumatic stress reaction to graduate and undergraduate students, I was looking for a book that hit the basics along with some key pieces regarding assessment, diagnostic criteria, and examples that highlighted some of the subtleties associated with complex trauma. This book is well organized and not too overwhelming for people new and beginning the field and a nice refresher for seasoned clinicians. Easy to read, clearly outlined to build upon each subject, I found it both a solid read, affordable, and made it a required read for my course. Please note that I purchased this book way back October 12, 2013 but only now getting to put my thoughts in writing.
