It is important to note that all Marimo sold from Aquatic Arts is responsibly collected and put through a rigorous quarantine process to ensure safety and quality. All of our incoming Marimo shipments are inspected and cleared by DFW/USDA before we receive them. Upon arrival, we quarantine and treat all of the Marimo for a minimum of two weeks, to fully eradicate any pests, including zebra mussels. This includes a saltwater bath that kills any “hitchhikers” that may be attached without causing any harm to the plant.
We take conservation very seriously here at Aquatic Arts, and we go through great lengths to support it. It’s in everyone's best interest to remain vigilant regarding invasive species. Because of the lengthy, tedious, and strict quarantine process that we follow, it is impossible for invaders of any kind to survive. As far as we know, we’re currently the only Marimo supplier doing anything like this, and that definitely sets us far apart from the rest.
In observance of state to state regulations for containing any potential spread of an invasive species, temporary restrictions have been implemented by the following states. Marimo orders from these states will not be sold or shipped at this time:

Marimo Moss Balls are one of the most popular plants in the aquarium hobby. In Japan, they are widely kept as ornamental plants in jars. These moss balls can be quite useful for the aquarium because they generate oxygen and remove nitrates, improving water quality. Marimo are often sold in the form of "nano" moss balls, which are much smaller. Our giant Marimo balls will be 1-1.5 or more inches in diameter. If you wish, you can cut the moss balls into smaller pieces and the individual pieces will grow into separate nano Marimo moss balls.
The lakes in which Marimo are naturally found are cold in temperature, so Marimo do best in cooler water (we recommend a water temperature no higher than 76° F). Brown spots may form on your Marimo if their water is too warm. If you find your water gets too warm during the hotter months, you can give your Marimo a “vacation” by putting it in a water-filled container in your refrigerator for up to 24 hours at a time.
Marimo balls are regarded as good luck charms in Japan, and since they have been known to live to 200 years and beyond, they are often kept as family heirlooms. They are thought to symbolize close bonds between family members or close-knit friends, and are often passed down to children and grandchildren or nieces and nephews. By the time future generations receive the Marimo balls, they will be larger in size and will continue to grow with each generation. Additionally, Marimo balls are sometimes given to young children as "pets," since the only care they require is occasional water changes.
Marimo balls are also though to represent everlasting love; thus, they are often used as wedding table ornaments or even gifted at weddings. They are appropriate as a gift to the bride and groom, and smaller Marimo balls make wonderful take-home gifts for the guests that can serve as mementos of the newly-weds' special day.

These adapters are AMAZING!!! I live in an old home and all the wall plugs are two prong. But it seems these days everything is three prong. saved me in a house full of old outlets

My landlord's house is really old and basically every single outlet is two prong which was an absolute nightmare for all my stuff. These little adapters just plug right in and suddenly everything works no problem, and getting 4 of them for under 10 bucks is a genuinely great deal. They feel sturdy enough that I don't worry about them coming loose and they don't stick out too far from the wall either.

Good Buy - 4 USB Ports (USB C) Hurray! - Fits Well In Cable Management Box - Long Flat (!!!) Cord

Good Product. I have 16 x 6 x 5 cable management boxes. This is the first power strip that I have found with 4 USB ports with USB C. Because it is a single row of outlets, the power supplies for 2 laptops fit in the box. I have those, a lamp, phone, and iPAD, with 1 extra USB and 1 USB C cord plugged in. The low profile inside the larger ventilated box keeps things from overheating. It has taken a bit of adjusting to get everybody in the right place but it works great. The flat cable is smart. It fits under the corner of the rug without leaving a bump.

Great for Any Inside Area
