Inspired by nature, made to nurture.

Embrace nature with the Bugaboo Fox 5 Renew. The iconic all-terrain pushchair carries your baby in unparalleled comfort, and the two-in-one system grows with them. Elevated for effortless styling, it’s also mindfully crafted with more sustainable materials.

This next-generation pushchair offers unmatched manoeuvrability on any terrain, giving you the freedom to go further together. The two-in-one design lets your baby go from carrycot to seat, so they can enjoy exceptional comfort at each stage of their journey.

Effortless on any terrain

Explore the outdoors with ease. The extra-large puncture-proof wheels and advanced suspension offer the smoothest strolls, wherever you go, so you can coast over cobbles or rougher terrain without disturbing your baby.

Unrivaled manoeuvrability

Experience best-in-class navigation. At 12.3 kg fully assembled, the pushchair’s light yet sturdy so you can steer with a touch and stay in control. The short wheel distance makes it agile and responsive, ready for wherever your journey takes you.

Crafted for superior comfort

Create a nurturing space for your newborn in the large all-season carrycot with breezy panels. The extra-breathable PureBreeze mattress has antibacterial protection, and the summer and winter sides help regulate your baby’s temperature for restful naps.

Easy to use with one hand

Engineered to make every day easier. With just one hand, you can adjust the handlebar, recline the seat, and even fold the pushchair — ideal when there’s plenty to juggle on your journey.

Grows with your baby

The Bugaboo Fox 5 Renew is ergonomically designed for your baby’s development. The toddler seat has a super-soft five-point harness and extends up to 10 cm. It features three recline positions, and you can adjust the seat to face you or the world.

What’s the difference between the Bugaboo Fox 5 Renew and previous models?

The Bugaboo Fox 5 Renew takes our iconic all-terrain pushchair design to the next level. It still includes all the features parents loved about the original Bugaboo Fox 5; such as smooth strolls on any terrain, unrivaled manoeuvrability, one-hand use, and exceptional comfort. However, it’s more consciously crafted to lower its impact on our planet, and it includes new colours and design updates for seamless styling.

The Bugaboo Fox 5 Renew also has additional features designed to make your baby even comfier, including a new extra-breathable PureBreeze™ mattress in the carrycot, a longer apron for better shelter in windy conditions, and a built-in pocket on the apron to store small essentials.

How is the Bugaboo Fox 5 Renew more sustainable?

The Bugaboo Fox 5 Renew is built to last with lower-impact materials to reduce its environmental footprint. Instead of fossil-based plastic, it uses innovative bio-based material. This is a game-changer that’s crafted from plant-based waste, which lowers CO2 without compromising durability or performance. It also uses vegan leather, recycled fabrics, and recycled aluminium. This combination of new materials has reduced the pushchair’s CO2 footprint by 30% compared to previous Bugaboo Fox models.

New PureBreeze™ mattress:

To give your newborn the most comfortable start, the Bugaboo Fox 5 Renew features a new PureBreeze™ mattress in the carrycot. It’s undyed, so it’s more sustainable, and it’s kinder to your baby’s sensitive skin. The firm yet comfortable structure is ergonomically designed to keep your newborn well-supported. For year-round comfort, the mattress is dual-sided with a warm fleece side and a fresh mesh finish. For added protection for your baby, it also has antibacterial protection and is extra-breathable.

It's How Wars End That Become Important Afterward
Format: Paperback
The twentiety century taught us a lot about wars and how they end. World War I showed us that making strong demands on the defeated (who didn't admit defeat to their own people) set the stage for the next big war. World War II was fought until the Unconditional Surrender of the Germans and Japanese. Something that thinkers still debate as having made them fight all that harder. VietNam was fought with no clear end in sight, and "another VietNam" entered our language. The first Gulf War was ended when Colin Powell and Bush II debated how to end the war. They stopped before they had to go in and see what the Sunni's, Shiite's and Kurds made of the power vacuum left by the removal of Saddam would have created. Bush II is learning about this now. This is the second revised edition of this book, originally published in 1971 and then updated in 1991 and now 2005 to reflect happenings in new wars. Still some of the old wars had interesting insights that I didn't know before, such as how Finland, originally on Germany's side against Russia, made a peace with Russia and kicked the Germans out before they became a Russian province. Great Book.

Complementary readings
Format: Paperback
There are already three good reviews so I will only suggest reading the following books instead of, or in addition to, this peculiar work: a) "War in human civilization" by Azar Gat; b) "War before Civilization. The Myth of the Peaceful Savage", by Lawrence Keeley; c) "How War Began" by Keith F. Otterbein; d) "War and Peace and War: The Rise and Fall of Empires" by Peter Turchin; and e) "War and the Law of Nations: A General History" by Stephen Neff.

Excellent short-book analysis
Format: Paperback
This short book is an outstanding analysis of how nations end wars, or accept peace. Ikle shows how governments often prefer obviously self-destructive courses rather then compromise peace terms. The problem is most acute when factional interests dominate strategy rather then a rational unitary interest. In such a circumstance, factions that benefit from continuing the war will accuse those pursuing peace of treason. Sadly, there is no equivalent derogatory word in English for those who pursue war to the detriment of their country. The book was first written in 1971, and most of the examples are from the two world wars. The work is still extremely relevant, and at 130 pages it's well worth the time. Highly recommended as a first book to read on ending war.
