How to Grow
Grow Calathea Exotica in bright, indirect light indoors. Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy. Mist regularly to increase humidity around your plant. Fertilize monthly during the growing season.
Care Tips
Water when the top inch of soil becomes dry. Feed monthly spring through fall with a balanced houseplant fertilizer. Keep away from hot or cold drafts. Ideal temps are 60-80°F.
Uses
Calathea Exotica brings a vibrant, tropical look to indoor spaces like living rooms, offices, and bedrooms. Its colorful leaves complement both traditional and modern decor.
Planting Tips
Repot Calathea Exotica in early spring as needed. Choose a pot one size larger with drainage holes. Use a quality potting mix for houseplants. Take care not to damage roots.
Maintenance
Remove dead leaves and spent flowers to maintain your plant's appearance. Wipe leaves regularly with a damp cloth to keep dust free. Rotate occasionally for even growth.
Pests & Diseases
