Anthurium Mem. Tim Anderson x Èclat Rouge

Introducing a striking new cross combining Mem. Tim Anderson with Èclat Rouge, focused on pushing colour, contrast, and depth. This pairing brings together two highly expressive plants, with strong potential for vibrant emergents and richly toned mature foliage.

Seeds are freshly harvested from this initial batch. Availability is limited, and the first 5 orders will receive a special freebie.

Mother Plant

The mother plant is Anthurium Mem. Tim Anderson (by Tezula Plants).

This RC cross was created by Tezula to recognise Tim Anderson’s contributions to the Anthurium world, particularly his influence on the Wonderboy line, which has shaped many modern high-end crosses.

We have two distinct plants from the same Mem. Tim Anderson batch, hand-selected during our visit to their Florida nursery - one with red emergents and the other with purple emergents. This specific cross uses the red-emergent form, chosen for its rich, warm colour expression from early growth stages.

Pollen Donor

The pollen donor is Anthurium Èclat Rouge.

A super select crystal-based hybrid consisting of Wonderboy, Tezula RC, Purple Crystal, and DB RC. Known for its intense magenta emergents that hold well into maturity, paired with silver splash veining and foliage that deepens into an exceptionally dark tone over time.

It stands out for its unique balance of colour, contrast, and refined structure-making it one of the more distinctive high-end hybrids in circulation.

Expectations

This cross is all about colour and intensity.

Expect a wide range of vibrant emergents, from deep red to magenta and possibly purple tones, combined with the potential for darker mature foliage and striking venation. With both parents selected for strong colour expression, there is excellent potential for unique, highly collectible seedlings.

As with all seed-grown plants, variation is expected—each seedling will be one of a kind.

The transformative power of stories, not checklists
Format: Hardcover
As someone familiar with previous writings from Keller and Inazu, I was eager to get this book--it did not disappoint. Both gentlemen are serious scholars, so one might have expected a weighty or dense theological treatise. Instead, they oriented the project around stories--individual stories that faithfully reflect personal versions of the grand Story of redemption, hope, beauty, truth, and justice. Rather than offering long lists of direct recommendations to other people (whose contexts will inevitably be different), these stories target the soul. As such, these stories offer vivid and practical insights to my particular context, but they do so indirectly, authentically, and inspirationally. As Keller has written elsewhere, no one changes his behavior because he's told he needs to change--he must be SHOWN. This book doesn't just tell us what authentic Christianity looks like in our polarized world, it shows us--and it does so exceptionally well. Highly recommended if you want to challenge your soul with diverse renderings of faithful living. Direct application to your life and specific recommendations for action will no doubt emerge, but they'll come from the inspiration of the Holy Spirit working through the power of Story.

So helpful and inspiring, too
Format: Hardcover
I bought both a hard copy and listened to it on Audible. As someone who is seeking to live faithfully in a world of difference in my workplace and community, this was an incredibly helpful book. I also can't help but think just how perfect this book is for our moment of national reckoning around race. NOW more than ever, folks need to read this book! I found myself weeping during Tom Lin's chapter, as I found resonance in my own experience growing up in an immigrant family, and I found myself incredibly inspired through that and so many other chapters as well. Other reviewers have critiqued the lack of specificity...for me, that was helpful, because everyone's context is so different. I was still able to take away what I needed. These are very thoughtful believers who come from very different walks of life, and it was a treat just to see the world from their view each chapter. Thank you, John Inazu and Tim Keller, for the rich contribution of this book to the Christian conversation about our place in the public sphere.

Great Book
Format: Paperback
I am reading this book for our Sabbath school study. Great reading. Submissions are made by real people trying to live right in a wrong, so wrong world. Very applicable to real life.

Valuable and timely
Format: Kindle
The various perspectives on the topic of diversity was refreshing, and the focus was on what is most important about the Christian faith. It is much better to read case studies like these rather than the echo chamber of social media.
