This new and rare plant of the Dischidia family is characterized by its small jade green leaves that are tightly stacked giving it the appearance of dragon scales. Tolerates low light levels, but for best growth provide with a couple hours of morning sun and its leaves can develop a reddish tint.

~Do Not let Dischidia sit in excess water. As epiphytes, in the wild they would be growing on tree trunks or branches in the forest understory where they would get most of their water just from dew or moisture in the air.

~Though Dischidia can be grown in full sun or high light conditions, leaves may bleach or yellow from the light stress so it is advised to grow them in medium to low light levels.

~Dischidia are considerably hardy & tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions, but for the best growth it is recommended to provide higher levels of humidity.

Despite all the positive reviews, I believe this product is subpar. There are genuine sheep skin Hydes but this product is NOT it. There is no leather embossing showing authenticity, and many signs of strong chemical treatment. Smell is lingering and I've aired them for over two days. Not very comfortable since the fur is very thick and coarse, you would expect it to be softer for the price as well. Not premium quality. I ordered this for my children to sleep on at long evening Church services but now I will look to more niche sellers for a higher quality product.
