Anthurium draconopterum is a fascinating houseplant, known for its unique foliage and intriguing shapes. The elongated, dissected leaves of this plant, with their almost leathery texture, evoke an aesthetic that is both exotic and mysterious. This plant is ideal for collectors seeking rare and spectacular specimens.

Origin: Native to the tropical regions of Central and South America, Anthurium draconopterum grows naturally in damp undergrowth, where it benefits from subdued light and constant humidity.

Growth: Anthurium draconopterum is slow to moderately growing. It gradually develops deeply cut, slightly leathery leaves, which can reach a length of 60 to 90 cm when grown indoors, depending on growing conditions.

Flowers: The flowers of Anthurium draconopterum are inconspicuous, consisting of a usually green or white spathe and a central spadix. They appear sporadically, but this plant is primarily grown for its unique foliage.

Light: This plant prefers moderate to bright indirect light. It thrives near an east- or west-facing window, or under suitable artificial light. Direct sunlight should be avoided to protect the delicate leaves.

Watering: Water regularly to keep the substrate slightly moist, but allow the surface to dry between waterings to avoid over-moisture, which can lead to root rot. High ambient humidity is also beneficial.

Substrate: Use a well-draining, organic-rich potting soil, similar to a tropical plant mix. A substrate composed of peat, perlite, and bark is ideal for promoting good root aeration while retaining moisture.

Toxicity: Anthurium draconopterum is toxic if ingested. It is recommended to keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Strong, Spacious, and Perfect for Every Meal
Style: 34 Ounces, Size: 34 Count
I’ve been using the Dixie Ultra Extra Large Paper Bowls for a while now, and they really stand out. With a 34 oz capacity, these bowls are big enough to hold hearty meals like soups, stews, and even large salads without worrying about spills. They’re perfect for heavy meals or when you just want a generous portion. What I appreciate most is that they’re compostable, which makes me feel better about using disposable products without harming the environment. Plus, they’re microwave safe, so reheating leftovers is super easy and convenient. The bowls are sturdy and don’t get soggy or flimsy, even with hot or liquid foods, which is a huge plus. Whether you’re having a casual lunch, a family gathering, or need something reliable for everyday use, these bowls deliver both quality and convenience. They handle big meals with ease and clean-up is a breeze. Definitely a smart choice for anyone who wants disposable bowls that actually hold up!

These plates are super sturdy and reliable! I’ve used them for parties and everyday meals, and they hold up really well—even with heavier or messy food. They don’t get soggy or bend easily, which is a huge plus. Makes cleanup so much easier without worrying about spills. Definitely a go-to for gatherings or busy days!

perfect size
purchased for entertaining when I need convenience and quantity. good for larger gatherings- they look good, hold a lot of food without leaking. Strong enough to carry loaded with food without sagging, thick enough to cut meat and not cut through the plate. Can warm up food in microwave and not worry. After the party just toss in the garbage for easy clean up. I will continue to buy these plates.
