This 30” tall baby and dog gate fits openings 28.75 to 39.75” wide and can be installed in doorways or hallways using the no-drill pressure mount system with adhesive wall cups. An included hardware kit helps ensure a secure installation for the top of the stairs. Easy to operate with one hand, this gate features a convenient door stopper that helps prevent the door from swinging out over stairs. No way I’d give this five stars. And I struggled to give it four to be honest
Once it’s installed it looks great. As someone else had mentioned the instructions are pretty useless. This item comes with screws and wall anchors. If given the chance, install into studs or use different plugs. The ones provided are terrible. I wanted this shelf unit centered in the wall where it was hung. To do this, I had to use the anchors, and not really giving any thought to it, opted to use the ones provided. They flat out suck. So, I then opted to hang it off center into studs. I wish I had bought this item prior to doing some renovations because I would have installed some blocking in the walls, but it is what it is. So, in closing, I installed a 2-shelf version that does look nice once installed. The instructions are basically useless. If using wall anchors, find better ones. Choose to install into studs if possible.
