Your Elephants Ear comes in a 30cm Nursery Pot. 

The Alocasia family brings us many exquisite species and the Macrorrhiza is no exception. Starting off lush and bushy when small, this houseplant will develop a nice strong stem with a crown of large fanning statement leaves as it matures.

A lovely alternative for lush, jungle vibes to the more conventional foliage plants. Give the Elephants Ear a nice brightly lit spot and watch the performance unfold. Pair with a Palm leaf basket if a gorgeous earthy appeal.

Please note: Elephants ears can cause stomach upset when ingested.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these instructions to keep your Elephants Ear healthy and happy.

Water: Keep soil evenly, but lightly moist and allow the top 2-3cm of the soil to dry out between waterings. Water less in winter as the plant is dormant. 
Light: Very bright, indirect light is best! 
Humidity: High humidity is required. To increase humidity, you can place the pot on a tray of pebbles and water. Make sure the pot is sitting on the pebbles and not in the water. You can also mist the plant to increase humidity. 
Fertilize: Water every second week during spring to summer with diluted balanced liquid fertiliser. Don't fertilise in the cooler months.

This is the first time I have read a book of David Jeremiah. I think I have seen him preach on Television at my parent's place when I was on holidays one Sunday morning. As a write myself, I am so impressed with the simplicity of the authors writing, and the subjects that he covers extensively, and yet dare I say it again in an engaging way that is not dry at all. The way he opens each topic up and uses stories, Bible verses and quotes to back up everything he says is the skill of a master communicator. I'm not even half way through this book, but it is remarkably accurate!! Dr. Jeremiah goes through our past 50-60 years, explaining HOW we've gotten to where we are today. We have allowed God and faith to be shunned by society, embracing a more "evolved" way of thinking. It's astounding to read, and reflect upon. We often hear the phrase "end days" and for a long time, I've kind of just nodded in agreement, but this book puts it all in order, and clearly reveals what has taken place, and puts you in the mindset of looking towards the SURE return of Christ in the not so distant future. We are at the stage of Sodom and Gomorrah, and this book will show you why. I would highly recommend this read for those who are interested in how we got here and where we're at now.
