Cliff Cotyledon is a succulent plant of the genus Cotyledon in the Crassulaceae family, originating from Namibia in southwestern Africa. It is a small shrub with thin stems, so it is difficult to support the upward growth and will creep downward. Its leaves are oval-shaped with a thin layer of white powder and have distinct tips, and the tips easily turn red. Usually the leaves are light green in color, but in a well-lit environment with a certain temperature difference, they will become soft yellow.

Care Tips

Light: It does not require a lot of light, as long as it is shaded in summer during the maintenance period. It cannot receive too much light, so it should be shaded when the sun is strong, and it can receive sufficient light in spring and winter. The environment should not be too dark, otherwise it will cause excessive growth of the plant and affect its shape.

Water: The Cliff Cotyledon plant does not need a very frequent water supply as it can store water in its leaves. Also, it does not like its roots to remain wet for the long term as it can create problems such as root rotting. So, you should provide them water once the soil in their pots starts to dry. You should check the soil for dryness and after that, decide about watering. If the soil is moist, you should not water your plants. You can provide them water once every 8 to 10 days during the summer. But in the winter and cold regions, watering once every 15 to 20 days would be enough.

Soil: Good air permeability and drainage ability is needed, and the clay of the soil should not be too large. You can mix succulent soil, peat soil, vermiculite and the right amount of granular pumice, so that the soil is more conducive to the growth of plant roots.

Potting: It is recommended to use ceramic pots because they are very absorbent, so even if you accidentally water too much you are not too worried, which greatly alleviates the side effects of overwatering the plants.

Temperature: The Cliff Cotyledon plant needs moderately warm temperatures to grow and thrive. If the temperatures are extremely low, or extremely high, it would not reach its potential growth rate. If you are growing it outside its natural habitat area, you should make sure to maintain the temperature in a moderate range. The Cliff Cotyledon plant needs the temperature to remain between 30 °F to 50°F or -1 to 10 °C. If the temperature falls below this during the winter, then you should keep your plant indoors and protect it from the harsh cold weather and snow.

Humidity: Cliff Cotyledon grows well in average household humidity levels when grown indoors. Normal household humidity is good for this plant.

    Care Instructions

Please visit our Succulent Care info page for more details.

To ensure the health of succulents, it is important to plant them in porous, well-draining soil. Succulents require little watering, but don't like to sit in wet soil. To create an adequate cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage.

Make sure to leave drought periods between waterings to prevent the plant from water-logging.

    Great product and price
Great price and works really well. Ford make it a little challenging to change this as you gave to remove the glove box but filter fitted perfectly and the musty smell has gone now.

    Airflow
A very nice sturdy and colorful filter. The only drawback I have is I think the carbon medium is so thick that it does restricts the airflow a bit. I do notice the air is filtered better than my previous filter, which is why I am keeping it.

Outstanding Performance, Minimal Installation Guidance Needed
I am delighted to award five stars to the cabin air filter with activated charcoal for my 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71. Installation was a breeze, and it fits my vehicle perfectly. The activated charcoal feature is incredibly effective in eliminating odors and enhancing air quality within the cabin. While the absence of written instructions was a minor inconvenience, a quick reference to the item listing on Amazon provided the necessary guidance for installation. Once in place, the filter performed admirably, ensuring a clean and fresh interior environment. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone seeking to upgrade their car’s air filtration system. Its exceptional performance and ease of installation make it a standout choice. Five stars without a doubt.

    Too restrictive!
If you like air flow do not buy this filter. I put it in my 2020 Super duty and had very little air coming out with the fan as high as it would go. Stopped and bought the standard Microguard from Orielly's. I changed it in the parking lot and Bam!!! back to blowing my hat off!
