Elevate your indoor garden with the stunning Monstera Deliciosa, a tropical beauty also known as the Split-Leaf Philodendron or Swiss Cheese Plant. Renowned for its glossy, heart-shaped split leaves, this climbing evergreen adds a touch of the exotic to any space. Native to Central America, the Monstera Deliciosa thrives as a houseplant, showcasing rapid growth, with leaves expanding 1 to 2 feet annually until it reaches full maturity in about three years.

NASA Approved Air Purifier:

The Monstera Deliciosa has been recognized and approved by NASA as an effective air purifier. In NASA's study, this plant has shown the ability to significantly improve indoor air quality by reducing common pollutants.

Care Tips for a Healthy Monstera Deliciosa:

  • Light: Flourishes in bright, indirect sunlight (65-75°F); exposure to direct sunlight once a year encourages optimal growth.
  • Soil: Requires well-drained peat-based potting media; suitable for various soil types with acidic or neutral pH.
  • Water: Regular watering during the growing season; allow excess water to drain; maintain slightly dry soil between waterings; occasional misting enhances indoor humidity.
  • Temperature and Humidity: Thrives in temperatures between 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit; tolerates down to 50°F and up to 90°F; prefers 60% humidity; misting or humidifiers maintain leaf moisture.
  • Fertilizer: Apply balanced liquid 20-20-20 fertilizer every few weeks during the growing season; dilute and replace regular watering; avoid excess fertilizer.

Monstera Deliciosa Well-Being Signals:

  • Browning Tips: Dry soil or fungal infection; adjust watering schedule and remove affected leaves.
  • Yellow Leaves or Light Brown Spots: Indicate dry soil; remove yellowing leaves and adjust watering.
  • Wilting, Curling, or Drooping Leaves: Watering issues; evaluate roots for root rot; mist leaves for humidity.

Pet Friendliness:

Toxic to humans, cats, and dogs.

FAQs:

Is Monstera Deliciosa easy to care for?

As a houseplant, Monstera Deliciosa is easy to grow and maintain. Outdoor success depends on the right warm and humid environment for it to thrive.

Why do leaves on some Monstera Deliciosa plants split more than on others?

Fenestrated leaves require more energy to split; increased light leads to more pronounced splits.

Where is the best place to put a Monstera Deliciosa?

Prefers bright, indirect light a few feet away from southern, western, or eastern-facing windows; tolerates some shade but too much shade will make it leggy.

What is the difference between Monstera Deliciosa and Monstera Adansonii?

Both known as Swiss cheese plants; difference lies in leaf size, with Monstera Deliciosa having significantly larger leaves than Monstera Adansonii.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

A good read
Format: Kindle
A good read, just fluffy cuteness, no antagonism. I like all the characters. It could have used another round of editing however, glanfds being one error that cracked me up, and my personal pet peeve was that the author kept using the word fill instead of feel, which I promise you are not interchangeable haha, but it's definitely better than the majority of books I read on here mistake-wise.

amazing
Format: Kindle
Knot the Bride was a fantastic read! The characters were all amazing and well-developed. It was easy to like them all. Sophia, Luca, Nick, and Gavin were all perfect for each other. It was such a charming story that had me hooked the entire time. I did wish there were POVs from Luca, Nick, and Gavin but it was still an amazing book without it. I am excited to read the next book in the Willowside Omegaverse series! This is definitely a must-read for fans of omegaverse romance!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3 Star Read,
Format: Kindle
This book wasn't bad, but wasn't my cup of tea. It's highly disappointing because the storyline is so original. There is no real conflict or resolution, so the entire thing feels flat. As a lover of omegaverse books, I know there is a ton of variety out there, and ov is really up to the author. But this one is weird. Omegas have multiple scent glands all over their bodies and go into week long heats every month. Alphas have knots in the middle of their shaft instead of the base, and the knot doesn't always swell, no explanation of when or why. It doesn't engage at all when the mouth is in play. I also didn't enjoy the author's writing style. Each paragraph is only 1 or 2 sentences long, and the entire book reads very stacato. The conversations are stiff and unnatural feeling. Everything is very repetitive, both in word choice and in thought. The same thing is repeated 3 or 4 times over a single page, multiple times over. I ended up doing so much skimming. The first 50% of the book is all slow burn, and the last 50% is almost straight mediocre spice. This wouldn't have been all bad if the grammar and spelling errors didn't start at the exact same time. Tongue is repeatedly misspelled in the middle of the spice.
