Monstera Obliqua Amazonas – The Rarest Fenestrated Monstera
The Holy Grail of Monsteras
Monstera Obliqua Amazonas is one of the most delicate and elusive Monstera varieties, known for its paper-thin leaves and extreme fenestration. Unlike Monstera Adansonii, Obliqua has more holes than actual leaf tissue, making it a true collector’s plant.
Why Monstera Obliqua is a Dream Plant for Collectors
- Extremely Delicate Fenestrations – Leaves appear almost skeletal, with intricate perforations.
- Slow-Growing & Exclusive – This Monstera takes years to develop, making it one of the rarest and most sought-after species.
- Requires High Humidity – Best suited for dedicated plant collectors with controlled environments.
How to Care for Monstera Obliqua Amazonas
- Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but needs protection from direct sunlight.
- Water: Requires consistent moisture; never let the soil dry out completely.
- Temperature & Humidity: Thrives in 75-85°F and high humidity (80%+).
- Potting Mix: A fine, airy mix with sphagnum moss, perlite, and orchid bark is essential.
A rare masterpiece for serious Monstera collectors—this plant is truly one-of-a-kind!
