Care Plan for Ficus lyrata Variegated
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain its variegation. Some direct morning or late afternoon sun is beneficial, but harsh midday sun may scorch the lighter parts of the leaves.
Water: Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Water when the top 3–5 cm of soil feels dry. Reduce watering slightly in cooler months.
Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity. Regular misting, a pebble tray, or a humidifier can help prevent leaf crisping, especially on the variegated sections.
Temperature: Ideal range is 18–26°C. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations.
