Pitaya Fruit, Pitahaya Fruit or commonly known as the Dragon fruit is among the most nutritious and wonderful exotic fruits. It is a favorite to many, particularly people of Asian origin. It features a mouth watering light sweet taste, an intense shape and colour. The thin rind encloses the large mass of sweetly flavoured white or red pulp and small black seeds. Dragon fruits have fleshy stems reaching from a few inches up to 20ft long (in mature plants). Flowers are ornate and beautiful, and many related species are propagated as ornamentals. Pitahaya plants can have up to 4-6 fruiting cycles per year. The Pitaya is more commonly referred to as the dragon fruit. It is an extremely beautiful fruit that has dazzling flowers and an intense shape and colour. The dragon fruit is usually a dark red colour, although some types of this fruit are pink or yellow. The skin of the dragon fruit is a thin rind. The skin is usually covered in scales, and the centre of the fruit is made up of a red or white, sweet tasting pulp.

Hylocereus Undatus, commonly known as the red dragon fruit is a species of non-spiny cactus. It is used both for its ornamental value and as a highly nutritious fruit.
Dragon fruit are really interesting and pretty easy to grow (see my own little babies in picture 3!) - they are actually climbing plants that will require some means of support. They produce beautiful flowers that last just a single night as well as the tasty fruit with its white flesh and black seeds.
Growing in the UK
Dragon fruit are native to warm arid climates and for growth prefer temperatures from 16-25c. In the UK they ideal plants for greenhouses or conservatories. The plants can be outside during the summer in most parts of the UK, however, they need to be protected from frost.
Sowing Instructions
Soak seeds in a glass of water for a day
Prepare a light free draining compost mix - I use 50% compost, 25% vermiculite and 25% horticultural sand
Ensure compost if moist but not wet - if it has been outside allow it to warm up indoors first (or microwave it)
Sow seeds on surface of the mix and gently press in to the surface to ensure good
Cover seeds with a fine layer of vermiculite or sand
Cover loosely with a clear bag (to maintain humidity) and keep soil temperature circa 20-25c - a heat mat is ideal. Cool soils will significantly delay seed germination time and may inhibit germination completely.
Dried seeds normally need 1 week for germination.

Soft Material, but Color Not as Expected

I did not open or use this sheet set because the color wasn’t suitable for the occasion I intended. I prefer to return items in unused condition so they can be resold as new, so I cannot comment on the exact fit. From a price point, it's value for money.
From touching the fabric through the packaging, the material feels soft and of fair quality. There is no unpleasant smell, and the overall functionality seems fine based on its construction.
My only disappointment is the oatmeal color—it looks somewhat dull and gives off an aged or slightly used appearance. I was hoping for a brighter, creamier tone. Aside from the color issue, the product appears to be well made and comfortable, which is why I’m giving it four stars.

Nice and soft

Update: I’m very happy with this sheet set! I’m currently only using the fitted sheet as I don’t have a need for the top sheet or pillow cases right now. It hasn’t popped off the mattress at all like the previous cheep sheet I had.
Original post: The sheet set arrived today. Haven’t actually tried it yet because I need to wash it first. From I can see, looks great. Once it’s washed and on my bed, and can figure out how to update my review I will do so accordingly. It’s soft like most people have said and the color is nice, though they didn’t have my favorite color purple in a shade I like so I got the ‘fancy blue’ (don’t remember the actual name of the color) because I desperately needed a new sheet of quality.

Very comfy sheets, nice fabric

I wasn’t expecting such good quality forthis price. They’re very soft, but of fairly thick fabric. I’m sleeping great on them. The pockets are deep enough for an 8” foam mattress plus my 3” topper. Will be getting another set for the second bedroom.

Weirdly textured

I have bought and loved jersey sheets in the past, that have all been as soft as a well worn cotton t-shirt. These arent soft. They have the stretch of jersey, but not the soft smooth texture that they should have. Even after washing a few times these are one of my least favorite sheets I've ever bought on Amazon.
