Anthurium Superbum 'Bird's Nest' Plant Care
Watering
Allow the top inch of soil to dry before watering. Water the plant thoroughly, and ensure proper drainage to prevent overwatering and root rot.
Light
Provide bright, indirect light to maintain healthy growth. Avoid exposing the plant to direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. A spot near a window with filtered light is ideal.
Temperature
Maintain a temperature range of 65-80°F (18-27°C). Protect the plant from cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations.
Soil Mix
Use well-draining, peat-based potting mix that retains some moisture. A blend of peat moss, perlite, and potting soil is suitable.
Humidity
Anthurium Superbum 'Bird's Nest' thrives in higher humidity levels. Increase humidity by misting the plant, using a humidity tray, or placing a humidifier nearby.
Fertilizer
Feed the plant with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid over-fertilizing, as it can lead to excessive foliage growth.
