A stunning and rare variety of Anthurium, known for its long, narrow, and deeply textured leaves adorned with striking white or cream variegation. The elegant variegation contrasts beautifully with the deep green foliage, making it a highly desirable plant for collectors seeking unique and dramatic foliage.

Origin:

  • Native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, particularly in regions like Colombia and Ecuador.

Care Recommendations:

🌡️ Temperature: Ideal between 65-80°F (18-27°C).

💧 Humidity: Prefers high humidity, ideally above 60%.

🌞 Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light.

Difficulty Level (1-5): 3

Difficulty:

Anthurium Vittarifolium Variegated requires careful attention due to its delicate variegation and large, elongated leaves. It thrives in high humidity and bright, indirect light, but is sensitive to direct sunlight, which can cause damage to the variegation. Like most variegated plants, it can be prone to root rot if overwatered, so regular, moderate watering is key. This variety is best suited for experienced plant owners who can provide the right conditions for its growth and stunning appearance.

and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition)
This is a required text for Internet Law classes. It is edited very poorly. There are typos on every other page, and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition).

Bad book for SOA exam, but oh well.
Format: Paperback
While required by Society of Actuaries as the textbook for Short Term Actuarial Models exam, I could not recommend this textbook for any other purposes. Written by two Canadian actuaries, a lot of terms and explanations used in this textbook cannot be transferred into US P&C insurance. It fails to explains insurance's purpose and products effectively and as an intro book with unnecessary sentences to deliver personal thoughts. It is also a mess in following sections on ratemaking and reserving. I cannot sense a flow from this book that guides readers in an approachable manner. Overall, author compromises the size AND the quality.
