The leaves appear in pale pink shades (when the plant is grown in strong light), with the underside pink or red, and as they mature they turn golden and later dark green. They also display a very interesting pattern that segments them.
Initially marketed as Philodendron sp. Fuzzy Petiole, it later received the species name Philodendron nangaritense. In the past, various suppliers mistakenly sold it under the name Philodendron aspartatum.
Growth habits: Creeping plant, but it can be trained on a trellis or moss pole.
Some leaves may show mechanical damage, but this does not affect the plant’s viability. Under optimal care, new leaves will develop normally.
